Originally from Taiwan, Stanley Ko came to the USA with his Electrical Engineering degree and obtained his Master's degree in Computer Science in 1986. He then worked for several software and hi-tech companies in Silicon Valley. He moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 1994, where he wrote his first book Mastering the Game of Let It Ride. The next year he wrote his second book Mastering the Game of Caribbean Stud Poker and started his own gaming consulting business. Stanley Ko prides himself on the quality of his work. He is recognized as one of the best game analysts in the gaming industry and has been recognized by the Nevada Gaming Control Board for statistical analysis of casino games.
